LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Spring Training is just days away for the Louisville Bats.
Before making the trip to Arizona to the Cincinnati Reds Spring Training facility, Bats Manager Delino DeShields says his focus is on keeping the team injury free this season. He says the injuries on both the Reds and Bats rosters made it a challenge in 2015, especially for the pitching staff.
DeShields says the first few days of camp will be spent getting to know the new faces the team signed in the off season.
The Bats play an exhibition game with the Reds at slugger field March 31 and open the regular season April 6 hosting Columbus.
