LEXINGTON, Ky. -- A judge rules in favor of the University of Kentucky in a case involving its student run newspaper and a sexual harassment case.
The Kentucky Kernel had sued the school to get documents related to a sexual harassment case against a former UK professor.
A Fayette Circuit Judge ruled against the paper, saying the documents are protected by a federal student privacy law.
The attorney general issued an opinion, saying UK had violated the state's open-records law.
The professor has since resigned, but did not admit to the allegations.
