(Louisville, KY) - Special Olympics Kentucky is canceling its state basketball tournament over coronavirus concerns.
The tournament was expected to be played in Louisville this weekend.
The organization said Tuesday it knows the decision is a disappointment to its athletes.
A statement said since the organization serves a medically vulnerable population, it couldn't justify going ahead with the games.
