A new report finds Kentucky's schools are below average.

The Education Week Research Center released nationwide results Wednesday for its Quality Counts 2019 report card.

Kentucky received a C-minus, which is below the national average of C. Indiana received a C.

A state's overall grade is the average of its scores in three categories, chance for success, school finance and K-12 achievement.
