Governor Matt Bevin is taking a shot at UofL women's basketball coach Jeff Walz.
Last month, Walz tweeted suggesting Gov. Bevin might want to mention his team after it won in the Sweet 16 of the women's NCAA Basketball Tournament. The tweet by Walz came after Bevin had congratulated the UK men's team for its win in the Sweet 16 of the men's NCAA Tournament.
While on NewsRadio 840 WHAS Wednesday, Bevin said twitter activity by Walz might have led to his team's loss to Connecticut in the Elite Eight. You can hear the comments at about 15:20 into the interview.
