JCPS Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio said he felt like JCPS has made great progress in the last ten months and the proposed state takeover was a “kick in the gut”. He also talked about the possibility of an appeal, his role during the takeover and who will be in control of JCPS, and not asking the people of Jefferson County for more tax revenue until a plan is in place to use it to best benefit the kids.
