Councilman Dan Johnson talks

Metro Council member Dan Johnson started the conversation by giving his version of the incident with Councilwoman Green and added that the fact that it continues to be a story is a result of her "attempt to hurt him". He also talked about the alleged incident with an aide of Councilwoman Angela Leet and the reason he apologized for both instances even though he believes he is not guilt in either.

In the second segment, Councilman Johnson discusses why he withdrew from the Democratic Caucus, various times that his pants have fallen down due to his small waist, Greater Louisville Inc.’s request that he not accompany them on any further official trips, and the proposed sexual harassment policy for elected officials.

The third segment began with a conversation on the possibility that Councilman Johnson may be removed from the Metro Council, why the people in his district should continue to support him, and how he can continue to work with other members of the Metro Council. He then talked more about the “suggested” apologies and why he filed a lawsuit. He also reiterated that he will not resign from his office and will “probably” not run for the Metro Council again.

Lastly, Councilman Johnson discussed other accusations against him in the past and what will happen after tomorrow’s meeting of the Democratic Caucus.
