Saying his state has done more than its share to assist in refugee resettlement, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has written to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to say that Texas will accept no new refugees in 2020. In the last decade, Texas has received more refugees than any other state — about 10% of the nationwide total. Abbott’s declaration has put him at odds with Catholic leaders, who’ve condemned the decision. ABC's Jim Ryan is following this story and joins Tony to break it down.

As discussed in the 5a hour today, that moment Martha Stewart and Rick Ross got a bit "close". 😂😂😂😂😂😂

And… the Tigers Win! WWL Radio's Dave Cohen joins Tony with a look back at last night's College Football Playoff National Championship that wowed the crowd in New Orleans last night with LSU (1) taking on Clemson (3).

It's the mayor's birthday today! How does he plan to celebrate? He joins Tony to talk about the state of the Metro heading into 2020.
