The number of people apprehended crossing the southern border continued its downward trend last month, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. That brings November more in line with the historical average, after a significant increase that started about a year ago. About 52,000 people were apprehended along the U-S/Mexico border in November 2018, compared to 33,500 last month. ABC's Jim Ryan joins Tony with a look.
Operational training is suspended for all Saudi Arabian aviation students at US Military bases. There are more than 850 students in all. The move comes after Investigations continue in Pensacola, Florida, where a Saudi national air force officer killed three US sailors in Pensacola, Florida last Friday in what is being investigated as a possible act of terrorism. CBS News Military Analyst Mike Lyons joins Tony to break it down.
Investigators are still looking for answers after a wild shootout in Jersey City, New Jersey. The gunfight lasted for hours with rapid fire reportedly heard at one point for over 15 minutes straight. In the aftermath, at least four people were killed including a police detective. The two suspects were also killed. The FBI and the ATF are working the case as an explosive device was found at the scene. Officials say there's no indication of terrorism at this time.
