A lot of activity on Capitol Hill this coming week as lawmakers prepare for a month-long recess. Meantime there was a lot of activity over the weekend involving tweets from President Trump. NBC News Radio's Michael Bower joins Tony with the latest news from Washington

Two American teenagers have been charged in the murder of a Rome police officer, who investigators said was stabbed to death in an alleged drug deal gone wrong. Italian police said Finnegan Lee Elder and Gabriel Natale-Hjorth confessed to being involved in an altercation that led to Mario Cerciello Rega’s death as they allegedly attempted to extort "100 euros and 1 gram of cocaine" from an Italian man whose backpack they had stolen. Photos were also leaked of Natale-Hjorth “illegally blindfolded” and handcuffed before he was interrogated as a suspect, raising questions about the pair’s alleged confessions. The police commissioner said it was “illegal” and the officer who blindfolded the teen made a “mistake.” ABC's Tom Rivers is following and joins Tony.

The economy is strong so are interest rates actually coming down? CBS News' Senior Business Analyst Jill Schlesinger joins Tony to break it down.
