Investigators are reportedly trying to determine whether the wealthy sex offender was assaulted or attempted to harm himself in jail. What do officials know? What does this mean for Epstein leading up to his hearing? NBC News Radio's Michael Bower joins Tony.

More problems for summer travelers. Southwest Airlines now says it will be even longer before the Boeing 737-Max flies again. The company now cancelling Max flights until January. That, while American Airlines says it’s confident they will fly the Max again by November. And both airlines announce changes coming because of the grounding. Southwest is pulling out of Newark, NJ all together. Which begs the question, would you fly the 737 Max if you were told it was safe? ABC's Cheri Preston is following and joins Tony.

An LMPD officer was shot overnight and a record number of cars are stolen. LMPD Spokesman Dwight Mitchell joins Tony with the latest.
