It was not immediately clear where she was found, but the method used to find her was time honored: cooked chicken. The father of one of the 20 first-grade students killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook School shooting was found dead of an apparent suicide Monday. Just days earlier, the city of Parkland, Florida, was rocked by two apparent suicides involving survivors of a gunman's rampage on Valentine's Day 2018 that killed 17 students and staff at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
