Discount retailer Dollar Tree plans to close 390 Family Dollar stores this year while renovating 1,000 other locations according to a company statement Wednesday. This after the retail chain posted a $2.3 billion loss. In a bid to prevent more closures, the plan is to renovate Family Dollar locations to sell alcohol and include a $1 Dollar Tree merchandise section. About 400 stores will get expanded freezer and cooler sections, and it will also rebrand about 200 Family Dollar stores to the Dollar Tree brand. But will that be enough? This latest news comes at a time when so many other retail chains are struggling thanks to e-commence. ABC's Michelle Franzen joins Tony.
