The Federal Open Market Committee will meet today and tomorrow, their first meeting of 2019. The Fed has recently softened their tone about raising interest rates after a tumultuous December in the stock market. While there won’t be an interest rate hike at this meeting, Bankrate.com’s chief financial analyst Greg McBride, CFA doesn’t expect the Fed to stand pat on interest rates for too long and talks about it with Tony.
