More shoppers are turning to their phones for their holiday shopping. A record $6.2 billion was spent online on Black Friday, and a third of those purchases were done on a smartphone, according to Adobe Analytics. Cyber Monday is expected to be the largest online shopping day in U.S. history, generating $7.8 billion in sales. In a holiday-shortened week, investors learned a nasty lesson: when the bear reveals his fangs, the results can be nasty.
