With the 7th storm of this year's hurricane season only hours away from US shores, once again mass evacuations are being ordered; states of emergencies are being declared; and the states in the path of Hurricane Michael are mobilizing for rescue and recovery. John Cohen, who aside from being with the Department of Homeland Security, acted as security advisor to 2 governors, talks about both state and local efforts to prepare for and then to respond to the storm -- even as the south east is still recovering from Hurricane Florence.  He talks with Tony this morning.

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley is the latest to leave the Trump administration. Is she in line for political office? NBC News Radio's Bill Zimpfer will have the latest worldwide reaction, and speculation on where she will land next.
