It's summer and soon we'll all try to fall asleep to the sweet sound of Fireworks after 11 p.m.  Take a lesson from our friends here, don't shoot them out of the back of a pick up truck or this might happen.  See for yourself in today's "Video of The Day"!

Immigration is the issue of the week in Washington, with legislation in the pipeline, and a continuing controversy over separated families at the border. NBC News Radio's Bill Zimpfer and Tony discuss the latest on the immigration

After President Trump pledged to end “war games” following his Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the Pentagon announced officials have suspended planning for the next big U.S.-South Korean military exercise slated to begin in August. The exercise, known as Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG) is a mostly computer-based simulation that involves 17,000 U.S. troops. A statement from the Pentagon on Monday referred to the military exercise as a “war game,” apparently for the first time, as other officials, including Trump’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to South Korea, have shied away from using the term.  CBS News' Mike Lyons breaks it down with Tony.

CBS News Space Analyst Bill Harwood  joins Tony to talk about "Space Force". President Trump has ordered the creation of a sixth military branch, the “Space Force,” because he said “it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space, we must have American dominance in space.”  The president said he would immediately direct the Pentagon to begin the process to set up this branch, and it’s unclear if military officials want another service just for space.
