The summit with North Korea is on. Then it's off. Then it's on again; the Iran nuclear situation remains unresolved; gas prices are at their highest in four years; and a record number of women are winning Democratic primaries. Despite all of that, Democrats have lost the 10 point lead they had in April in the generic ballot for Congress. Not only that, more people are now saying they will vote Republican this fall than Democrat. What happened to the anti-Trump “blue wave” that was going to hand the House to Nancy Pelosi and the Dem’s? What has changed? Have Republican prospects for 2018 turned around? Will Republicans keep the House because more voters believe President Trump is making America and its economy great again? Or are other forces coming into play?

All sides are working to save the on-again off-again nuclear summit between the U-S and North Korea. U-S diplomats are meeting with North Koreans inside the Demilitarized Zone. And a top North Korean official is traveling from Beijing to New York for negotiations.  CBS News Military Analyst Mike Lyons takes a look.
