It could be a big day for University of Louisville Athletics.  Our own Jody Demling is on campus all day today and have a preview with Tony.

Hundreds of thousands marched in the nation’s capital and at rallies across the U.S. for “March for Our Lives,” an event organized by the survivors of the Parkland, Florida, high school shooting.  Students, teachers, parents, and activists stood shoulder-to-shoulder on Pennsylvania Avenue and called on Congress to take action on gun control and school safety measures.  Will the march have an effect on lawmakers still struggling to find common ground on gun reform? Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) tweeted that he respected the views of the rallygoers, but added that “many other Americans do not support a gun ban.” On ABC’s “This Week,” Mark Kelly, retired astronaut and husband of Gabby Giffords said the students marching could affect the political landscape: “This is not the last you’re going to see of these kids.”
