Metro Council meets tonight.  What's on the agenda?  Pres David James joins Tony.

The competition begins at the Winter Games in South Korea the day before the official opening ceremony. First events include Alpine skiing and mixed doubles curling.  ABC News' Alex Stone joins Tony from Pyeongchang as he will everyday during the Olympics at 6:45 am.

Vice President Pence is heading for South Korea and the Olympic Games at a time when the U.S. is about to unveil the toughest sanctions yet on North Korea.  What other message will the Vice President be sending to the North as he arrives?  NBC News Radio Correspondent Bill Zimpfer will has the latest from the Foreign Desk with Tony.
