On August 21st, Americans will get their widest look at a total solar eclipse in nearly a century. The last time the phenomenon was visible from coast to coast was on June 8, 1918. Scientists and entrepreneurs alike are eagerly looking forward to the day the sun goes out. And some people are concerned – for good reason. Jim Ryan takes a look with Tony.
This week, the NYC Medical Examiner positively identified the 1,641st person killed in the 9/11 attacks. The World Trade Center victim identified through DNA was a man. His family declined to publicly release his name but he is the first WTC victim to be positively identified since March 2015. Even 16 years later there are full time scientists at the medical examiner’s office who cycle through tiny fragments of unidentified human remains as DNA technology evolves and allows for the testing of smaller and smaller samples. There are still 1,112 WTC victims – about 40% -- that remain unidentified. ABC's Aaron Katersky joins Tony with the latest.

The president launched another Twitter war, this time taking aim at democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, who is sponsoring legislation that would protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller from being unilaterally fired; and the New York Times, over that report of some Republicans quietly lining up to potentially run for the top job in 2020.
