(Louisville, KY) - A redesigned and rebuilt paddock area at Churchill Downs will be completed in time for the 150th Kentucky Derby in May of 2024.
The project is expected to cost between $185 million to $200 million.
The paddock will be expanded from 5,000 to 12,000 square feet to give guests a better view of the iconic Twin Spires, ease congestion in the area, and upgrade audio and visual technology. It will also include hundreds of club rooms.
