(Bardstown, KY) - Heaven Hill Distillery is expanding in Bardstown.
Heaven Hill says it plans to open a new, $135 million distillery in its hometown by 2024. The state-of-the-art distillery will help the nation's largest independent, family-owned and operated distilled spirits supplier meet increasing global demand for whiskey.
Heaven Hill hasn't distilled in Bardstown since losing its onsite distillery, several rickhouses and nearly 100-thousand barrels of whiskey in a 1996 fire.
