(Louisville, KY) - The Kentucky Derby Festival is making final preparations for one of its signature events.
KDF says it expects over 850,000 people to gather to watch Thunder Over Louisville on Saturday.
Officials say the air show will include war planes dating back to World War II in an effort to showcase the U.S. Air Force's history during its 75th anniversary.
The command center for the show is the Galt House Hotel in Downtown Louisville.
