(Frankfort, KY) - Recently vetoed state redistricting bills are headed to the courts.
The legislative supermajority acted quickly Thursday to override Governor Andy Beshear's vetoes of the redistricting plans. The Kentucky Democratic Party has filed a lawsuit questioning the validity of the recently drawn legislative maps.
House Speaker David Osborne says attorneys are reviewing the lawsuit, saying they don't believe the claims have merit.
