(Louisville, KY) - The union representing LMPD officers is rejecting a contract offer from the city.
Members of the River City Fraternal Order of Police voted down the offer Monday.
The union says the contract didn't do enough to stop the loss of officers from the force and wouldn't increase LMPD's ability to attract the best talent.
The FOP also says LMPD officers should be the highest paid in the state, and the contract didn't accomplish that goal.
