(Louisville, KY) - All employees of Jefferson County Public Schools are required to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or have regular testing.
The Jefferson County Board of Education approved the policy during Tuesday night's meeting.
Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio says the recommendation is based on the significant safety and operational challenges brought on by COVID-19.
All JCPS employees are required to be fully vaccinated by October 14th or undergo testing every other week at the district's expense.
