(Cupertino, CA) - Kentucky is set to be among the earliest states where residents will soon be able to have their driver's license or state IDs on their iPhone.
The feature will allow folks to use their electronic IDs to go through security at some airports.
Apple says Arizona and Georgia will be the first states to take part in the new effort, followed by Kentucky, Connecticut, Iowa, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah.
The software will also allow those identification documents to be on Apple Watch. However, there's no exact timeline as to when the new feature will be rolled out.
