(Camp Atterbury, IN) - As many as 5,000 Afghan refugees could be coming to Indiana.

Congressman Greg Pence says the Pentagon has informed him that thousands of people evacuated out of Kabul will be sent to Indiana's Camp Atterbury, located just north of Columbus.

The refugees are expected to arrive in the next few days. The Indiana National Guard is being called-up to support the camp and the thousands of people who will soon be living there.
