(Louisville, KY) - The Jefferson County Board of Education will determine the mask-wearing policy for JCPS. A vote is expected during Tuesday's meeting.

The district's current policy requires teachers and staff who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear masks inside buildings and everyone to wear face coverings while on school buses for summer programming and the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio is expected to provide information to the board that aligns with the CDC and the Kentucky Department for Public Health prior to the board's decision.
