(Louisville, KY) - Jefferson County Public Schools and Jefferson Community and Technical College are working together to offer more dual credit classes to high school students.

Thanks to expanding technology, students can take courses online that weren't previously available at their schools.

Juniors and seniors with at least a 2.8 grade-point average can earn up to six hours of college credit that will be paid for by the state.

Students who are interested in the dual-credit courses are asked to contact their school counselor prior to the August 4th deadline.
