(Louisville, KY) - The Jefferson County Board of Education is praising superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio's leadership in an evaluation approved during a special meeting Tuesday.
Board members praised Pollio's leadership, saying he's worked to improve minority hiring, reduce teacher vacancies, and improve teacher retention.
The evaluation also said Pollio remained focused on facilitating student learning during the coronavirus outbreak.
