Kentucky Education Committee Hears Testimony On Critical Race Theory

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky lawmakers are discussing whether critical race theory should be taught in the state.

The Interim Joint Committee on Education met Tuesday to discuss the issue.

The debate became heated as lawmakers heard testimony from education administrators.

Republicans have pre-filed two bills that would ban the controversial approach from being used in Kentucky public schools.
