Kentucky's First 'Shot At A Million' Winner Announced

(Frankfort,KY) -- We now know the first winner of the Shot at a Million sweepstakes encouraging people to get their COVID-19 vaccine. 

Governor Andy Beshear announced the million winner Friday as well as the first five winners of a full scholarship to any Kentucky public university, college, trade or technical school.

Patricia Short from the Lexington-Winchester area is the state's latest millionaire. 

The full scholarships were won by Jalen Crudup from Elizabethtown, Crystal Frost from Crestwood, Tyler Henson from Mt. Sterling, Adison Sullenger from Princeton and Alex VonderHaar from Louisville.
