(Louisville, KY) - Norton Children's Research Institute is one of about 100 sites worldwide that will participate in a COVID-19 vaccine trial for children.
The facility is participating in Phase Two of the clinical trial for the vaccination of kids from six months to eleven-years-old.
Norton Healthcare officials say the children in the trial will be given the same Pfizer vaccine that's been given to over 140 million people in older age groups.
