One Indiana Republican Congressman Votes For January 6th Commission

(Washington, DC) - Most of Indiana's Republican congressmen voted against a new January 6th Commission.

Only Rep. Trey Hollingsworth voted to create a new panel to investigate the January riot at the U.S. Capitol. The bill passed the House 252-175. Hollingsworth represents Indiana's 9th congressional district.

In all, 35 Republicans voted for the commission. The proposal now heads to the U.S. Senate, where its fate is less certain.
