(New York, NY) - The cover of a New York tabloid is calling Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell Donald Trump's lapdog.
The front page of the New York Daily News shows McConnell's head photoshopped on the body of a small lapdog, with a large headline calling him "Trump's Li'l Mitch." The subheadline beneath it reads, "Lapdog pol protects Don from riot probe."
The House voted Wednesday to form a commission to investigate the January 6th Capitol riot. The Kentucky Republican has spoken out against the commission.
