(Washington, DC) - Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is coming out against forming an independent commission to investigate the January 6th attack on the Capitol.
Speaking on the Senate floor Wednesday, the Kentucky Republican called the commission proposal "slanted" and accused House Democrats of acting in bad faith. That came a day after McConnell said he was undecided.
McConnell suggested the Justice Department is doing plenty with ongoing investigations and prosecutions of the Capitol attack.
