(Louisville, KY) - JCPS students in grades 6-12 will have a new, permanent virtual-only option for instruction.
The Jefferson County Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday to create the Pathfinder School of Innovation.
District Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio says teachers have learned a lot and improved a lot when it comes to virtual instruction during the coronavirus outbreak.
Students who want to attend the new virtual school can transfer for the fall semester while students at Jefferson County High School and eSchool will automatically be transferred to the new Pathfinder School of Innovation.
