(Louisville, KY) - Social justice activists in Louisville say they want to meet with Mayor Greg Fischer and LMPD Chief Erika Shields.
They gathered at Jefferson Square Park Wednesday, saying they want to be heard on issues impacting the fight for social justice.
They say they also want more input on a memorial marker at the Square that was the center of protests following the officer-involved shooting death of Breonna Taylor.
The marker planned by the city would honor Taylor and others killed in protest-related activities.
