Trained by Brad Cox, Essential Quality drew the No. 14 post position in a full field of 20 horses.
Rock Your World is the second choice at 5-1. He'll break from the No. 15 post.
Two of trainer Todd Pletcher's four Derby horses drew unpopular posts. Known Agenda will start on the rail in the No. 1 spot. Bourbonic is on the far outside in the No. 20 post.
The connections for Hot Rod Charlie let out a cheer as their horse drew the No. 9 post. He's trained by two-time Derby winner Doug O'Neill.
Post position No. 17 has never produced a Kentucky Derby winner. This year, the spot went to Highly Motivated.
