Former UK Men's Basketball Player Dies In Crash

(Lexington, KY) - Former University of Kentucky men's basketball player Terrence Clarke has passed away.

UK Athletics confirms that Clarke died after a car crash Thursday in Los Angeles.

Officials say the 19-year-old was driving at high speed when he ran a red light, hit another car, then crashed into a pole and a block wall.

Reports say Clarke was not wearing his seatbelt properly. He was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
