(Cincinnati, OH) - The red-hot Cincinnati Reds won their fifth straight game with an 11-4 blowout over the Pittsburgh Pirates at home.
The Reds scored five times in the bottom of the first paced by a leadoff home run from Tyler Naquin and a two-run double from Kyle Farmer.
Cincinnati right-hander Luis Castillo rebounded from an opening day loss with seven scoreless innings to earn the win.
The Reds will spend Thursday traveling as they head west to start a weekend series with the Diamondbacks Friday night.
