Mayor Fischer's LMPD Civilian Review Board Appointees Approved

(Louisville, KY) - The people nominated by Mayor Greg Fischer for the LMPD Civilian Review Board have been approved.

Louisville Metro Council voted to appoint all eleven nominees yesterday.

The LMPD Civilian Review Board was created to provide oversight of police conduct, along with an appointed inspector general.

The board will act as an extra layer of accountability in cases of alleged police misconduct after receiving approval from Metro Council.
