(West Palm Beach, FL) - Former President Trump is laying into the top Republican in the Senate.
In a new statement, Trump said the GOP can't be respected or strong with leaders like Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell. He called McConnell a "dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack," adding that if Republican senators stick with him, they won't win again.
Trump also vowed to back primary rivals who support his Make America Great Again and America First policies.
Just days ago McConnell voted to acquit Trump in his impeachment trial, but did say he thought Trump was "morally responsible" for the riots at the Capitol.
