No Set Date For JCPS Return To Classrooms

(Louisville, KY) - Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio says a return to in-person learning is dependent on the supply of COVID vaccines.

During Tuesday night's board of education meeting, Dr. Polio said all staff who want to be vaccinated should have their first shots by next Tuesday.

Then the booster shot is given 28 days after the first dose. Pollio said the district could bring back elementary staff about two weeks after that.
