(Louisville, KY) - The Christmas tree recycling program for Louisville Metro Public Works starts Tuesday.
Locations accepting live Christmas trees include the East District Recycling Center on North Hubbards Lane, the Public Works Yard on Lower River Road and the Waste Reduction Center on Meriwether Avenue.
All lights and ornaments must be removed from the trees before they're dropped off.
The program runs Tuesday through Saturday until January 30th.
