Oldham Co. Attorney Calls Restrictions On Thanksgiving 'Unreasonable'

(Oldham Co., KY) - A Kentucky County Attorney is calling some of Governor Andy Beshear's restrictions "unreasonable."

Oldham County Attorney John K. Carter says he won't prosecute those who have more than eight people at private indoor gatherings for Thanksgiving.

Carter says the Supreme Court ruling allowing Governor Beshear to make executive orders was only for "reasonable" orders.

Earlier this week, Carter responded to limits on private gatherings on Facebook saying he wishes people a happy Thanksgiving with as many family members as they want.
