(Louisville, KY) - A Louisville man fired from his job with the United State Postal Service is facing federal charges.

DeShawn Bojgere is accused of tossing more than 100 absentee ballots into a dumpster earlier this month.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Kentucky says Bojgere is charged with the delay or destruction of mail.

The ballots have since been delivered to Jefferson County voters.
