Governor Extends Indiana's Mask Requirement For 30 More Days

(Indianapolis, IN) - Folks across Indiana are going to continue to have to wear a face mask.

Governor Eric Holcomb has extended the state's mask mandate until November 14th. The governor also said Indiana will remain at reopening Stage Five.

The governor says this is not the time to 'wave the checkered flag.' He said people need to continue to wear their masks and continue to socially distance.

Indiana Health Commissioner Tests Positive For Coronavirus

(Indianapolis, IN) - Indiana's top public health doctor has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Dr. Kristina Box confirmed her positive test Wednesday, but added that she does not have any symptoms.

Box said she likely was exposed through her grandson and his daycare. She said two workers at that daycare center tested positive for the virus.

Box is isolating, but said she had been isolating since the outbreak began and was mostly around her family members.
